Do I need a fishing license?

Yes. A valid North Carolina fishing license is required and can be obtained through the NC Wildlife Resourses Commission by clicking here https://www.ncwildlife.org/Apps/Purchase/LicenseSelection1.asp

What do I need to bring?

We recommend bringing a hat, polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, rain gear and lip balm. We will have bottled water on the boat but please bring any food items that you'd like for half-day outings. Lunch, drinks and snacks are provided on full-day outings.

What are the rates and what forms of payment do you accept?

Please call for current rates. Personnal checks can be sent for the deposit. Certified check or cash only for any remaining balance the day of our outing.

Is there a place to stay close by the lakes?

Yes. Please see our "Accommodations" page or ask when you contact us.

Do I need to bring any tackle?

No, but please feel free to bring any that you like. Fly fishing can be great on these lakes certain times of the year.

How many people can go?

A maximum of two clients and one guide per boat. We can usually arrange additional boats as needed.
