We booked a family fishing trip with Joel for my dad's birthday. My 11 year old son, my dad and husband, all had an amazing time. We booked a family fishing trip at Shearon Harris as a present for my son’s 13th birthday and he brought two of his friends. Joel was very knowledgeable and patient with all three boys. They all came away with some good catches and new skills! I did not fish myself, but thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and wildlife from the boat ride and learned more about the lake. We had such an amazing experience on our fishing trip with Joel! He was incredibly patient, kind, and welcoming with my kids, which made the entire trip so enjoyable and stress-free for our family. You can tell he truly loves what he does and cares about making sure everyone has a great time. Joel was also very knowledgeable and took the time to teach us about fishing, answer questions, and help the kids feel confident and excited. He made the trip fun, memorable, and comfortable from start to finish. We went out on a fishing trip with Joel, and it was honestly unforgettable from start to finish. My husband and I weren’t sure what to expect being complete beginners, but Joel made the entire experience feel easy, fun, and completely worth it. He is incredibly knowledgeable—not just about where to find the fish, but about reading the water, timing, conditions, and all the little details that make a huge difference. You can tell right away that he really knows what he’s doing and has spent years mastering it. He was patient with us, explained things clearly, and made sure we felt comfortable the whole time. And the fishing itself was amazing. We caught so many fish, way more than we ever expected, and it felt like there was never a dull moment. Joel kept us in the right spots at the right times. Beyond the fishing, the whole trip just felt relaxed and enjoyable. He has a great personality, easy to talk to, and made the day feel fun instead of stressful or complicated. It didn’t feel like just a service it felt like a real experience we’ll actually remember. If anyone is thinking about booking a fishing trip, this one is absolutely worth it. We left with great memories  and a lot of appreciation for Joel’s skill and effort. Easily one of the best experiences we’ve had together.
