I had one of the best days on the water today without catching a single fish!! I hired Joel to help me dial in my electronics and learn to use my Active Target and Joel delivered on everything he promised plus. Joel has a great way to explain everything we were seeing on the units and then how to zero down on the targets we marked. I was finding those underwater structures and running over them with my bait in no time. Learning how to use your electronics is something that would benefit all anglers, whether a tournament fishermen or recreational fishermen to finding and catching more fish. I would highly recommend hiring Joel for a session, time and money well spent.

I’d like to point out his attention to detail, finding out what you want to catch, information about who is fishing and their experience level (young, old, experience or no experience), weather conditions, seasonal changes. Wanted to take my oldest daughter fishing before the start of the school year. Google returned Joel’s company as one of the top results for “fishing charter NC”. Emailed him with a couple questions, which he promptly answered, so I decided to hire his services. Our trip (the Super Half-day Fishing Charter @ Jordan Lake) started right on time with zero problems, thanks to Joel providing detailed instructions beforehand on what to bring, what to do (and not to do), which made the process super easy.
Joel is very knowledgeable not only about fish, the best fishing areas and techniques, but he also uses Lowrance equipment which allows him to literally park the boat on top of the fish. Joel makes you feel comfortable, relaxed, and more than a chartered fish trip it feels like you’re fishing with a friend. We caught almost two dozen crappies, it was awesome ! And now my daughter calls this fishing trip “one of the best days of my life”.

It was as great experience with Joel. He organized an awesome trip with my friends. It was evident that he loved his job and he was genuinely excited to share his expertise with us.
